But here's a trick I use to make my morning life easier: Baby boy goes to bed in tomorrow's clothes. That way, when he's awake it's a simple diaper change and I'm off to help the girls with the things they still have a bit of trouble with (like getting their sock toes lined up just right!).
My mom thinks it's crazy that I do this, but I say, "Why not?!" It saves time, stress and struggle with an older baby. Plus, baby clothes are so comfortable that there's hardly a difference between day clothes and night clothes. For special occasions when we want to dress him up a bit the next day he'll go to bed in PJs, but those days are rare exceptions!
This tip and trick works best with babies 4 months and up, after that poo-poo blow-out phase has passed! Until then you're changing clothes so often it hardly makes a difference!
Try it out and see what a difference it makes on your next busy morning!
Good Morning. Stopping by from the Tuesday Train! I think your idea is great. I only had one child, and when she was an infant I worked at home, but there were many days where she wore her "bed" clothes for a good part of the next day - really, why NOT! Have a great holiday!

I've done this before...anything that helps get you there in time! :)
ReplyDeleteAs a mother of 4 - I say anything you can do to make life easier - do it :) I'm sure I did this too when they were babies!
ReplyDeleteHi, as a mom of 4 I can use all the stress free there is. I did this when my kids were smaller. I wish I could still but then they're clothes are all wrinkled. :) I'm a new follower from the hop. Hope you can stop by my blog.

Hi there. Just stumbled upon your blog. Aren't all baby clothes meant to be pjs as well? I think my first baby wore those little button up jumpsuits day in and out, unless we were going to a special occasion or church. I don't see a problem! Whatever makes life easier!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I am following you back. Have a great holiday!
ReplyDeleteHave the greatest of holiday!!!
ReplyDeleteI always like reading you.
GREAT IDEA! I struggle a lot with this and I only have one child...an 8 month old. But between the 2 dogs, getting him ready for day care, getting myself ready and making sure my husband has what he needs for the day..sometimes I leave the house in a sweaty mess!! Thanks for the wonderful tip!!
