    My good news is that the weekend brought some much needed perspective. I don't know if it was seeing the neighbor's tree that had fallen on top of their car during a storm that left us untouched, or if it was simple and wonderful quality time spent with my two little boys yesterday, or maybe watching that Titanic mini-series over the weekend and watching that horror played out again... but I woke up on the right side of the bed this morning - feeling happy and content like I haven't in a very long time. Found your blog via the Make My Morning blog hop, by the way & looking forward to reading more. :)

    I do have some good news actually! Skylar magazine is turning 9 this summer on July 19th which also happens to be my birthday. I'm planning to give the blog a facelift, though I am struggling with it a bit at the moment. I'm going to be doing a special birthday edition to celebrate.

    Also, I am currently putting together a writing team and need writers! I posted information about it yesterday, it's an awesome opportunity.
